Trouble with Re-compressing
I've done my best to search around, but found little on this problem, and of course my serach terms have been rather generic at best as it's an odd problem.
After a week or two of successful re-encoding (purchased, not trial) to a pocket-pc sized wmv's, all of a sudden every re-encode I do ends up, what could best be described as slow-motion sound, and 0.5-0.25 Frames per second. I've tried several diffrent (un-altered) re-compression settings, the re-compression goes all the way through, takes (say) 20-30 minutes for a 30 minute episode, but looks horrible. It records from source just fine no matter what setting I choose, plays back smoothly, it's just the re-encoded wmv files that turn out odd. Anyone run across this before? Paul |
