placeshifting
this may sound stupid, buy what is the diffrence between placeshifting and live tv buffer.
also is there a list off all of the new additions to btv since beta ,i never seem to get the emails

On beta.snapstream.com, each download has a list of improvements and fixes listed.
Live TV buffer is when the tuner outputs a video file for live tv, and the application keeps 2 secs in buffer so you can pause, rewind, ffwd. Placeshifting is streaming video based on available bandwidth and transcoding on the fly to meet that connection speed.
