Re: Video Folders gone
Ouch. It's one of the things this Beta is supposed to take care of.
Weird. For me it's the exact opposite experience. I had a non-BTV related crash, which in earlier versions would most likely have resulted in a loss of video folders. Not this time. Sounds like you need to resore from earlier version once you reported the bug. Eric

Re: Video Folders gone
Well I reloaded 4.4 out of desperation. During the install of 4.5 beta, I think I may have borked the install. I ran hwclear to install some beta drivers for my PVR-150 and 550, but forgot to reinstall the drivers. I cancelled out of setup wizard, loaded drivers and rebooted. BTV tried to reload, but couldn;'t do much with no tuners installed. I reran setup, and all was fubar. I'll stick to 4.4 until this weekend when I can afford some more beta testing. Wife is POd that she lost out on Bones and NCIS due to corrupt files, and she has lost tones of SD recording to nad recording with timestamp issues.

I am having the same problem. I set-up my video folder in web admin, and as long as I do not restart my computer, it works. I can record shows without any problems. When I restart my computer, I get an error message that "no video folder has been set-up" and sure enough, I open the web admin and find that the folder is not set.
![]() I then have to go back into the web admin and set it up again. Just to address the obvious, I am pressing save to ensure that the video folder is set-up when I am in web admin. It is a bit frustrating. Anyone have any ideas? I am using firefox 2.0, winxp pro, amd64 3800 XP and 1 gig of memory. Thanks! Tony |
