just picked up a pentium 4, 1.8ghz machine from my mother-in-law, who got talked into replacing her 4 year old pc with a new 3ghz machine when she got outlook all messed up somehow..........my brother-in-law got her to replace the machine rather than just re-install XP.....so now i have a machine to play with......plan to replace her XP home edition with the Vista RC load and run BTV Link and/or WebAdmin on it.
i'd like to eventually put the machine in the basement, which is about 15 feet from (and 1 floor below) my home theater room........ 1) any recommendation for an RF mouse/keyboard with good range?
