[plugin] Net Radio
Author: Radnelac
Short Description: Allows users to listen to their favorite online radio stations Long Description: This project hadn't been updated in over 2 years (The original author hasn't even logged in since last Aug.) so I figured it was about time to make a few changes. Version Number: 0.2 Status: BETA Last Updated: 03/21/2007 Homepage: Installation Instructions: Installer will overwrite RadioStations.xml so be sure to back it up before installing! Plugin name has also changed from "NetRadioSetup" to "NetRadio" so you might need to move or rename your existing one before installation. Release Notes: Now uses BM's player control so volume and playback controls work from anywhere in BM. License: FREE Requirements: Download NetRadio.bmplugin

Re: [plugin] Net Radio
Thank you. I appreciate that you have taken this project on. I was going to look into this when I had some time but now that you have a solid plugin going, I will focus my attention on the iTunes plugin.
You should look into making a plugin setup screen where you enter the URLs instead of manually editing the XML file. The idea is that users should not have to leave the front end to configure the plugin.

Bravo
I tried this out today and Love the plugin. I agree with tmar that if you have any plans to continue development, a setup screen would be nice where you could add stations from Beyond Media itself without having to edit the xml file manually. Very worthwhile plugin. Thanks for working on it!

Re: [plugin] Net Radio
The settings page in on my to-do list. Unfortunately my development time is quite limited at the moment due to the fact I'm taking care of my 6-month-old
![]() I've also noticed that some streams still don't pause correctly when a video is started (Windows Media) while others (MP3) work as expected. |

Re: [plugin] Net Radio
I posted a video of this plugin in action (sorry-your stuck with my narration) along with my thoughts on the NetRadio Plugin. This is on the top 10 of Beyond Media Plugins we are using. Thanks!

Re: [plugin] Net Radio
I ran the install but I dont see the plugin in my main window of BM. I looked in settings to see if maybe I had to tell BM to place the shortcut on the main menu, but no joy.
Am I missing something? Is there something more to installing plugins besides clicking the bmplugin?

Re: [plugin] Net Radio
Oh, also, does this plugin allow you to record radio? Or just play?
