I still use this plug-in on a regular basis. I'd very much appreciate an updated version. Thanks very much for your development time!

Yeah, "tomorrow" turned into "whoops, I forgot". I'll try to get to it today or tomorrow.

SWEET! These days this is really all I use BeyondMedia for. My DVD libary is broken. I think if this plugin stopped working I'd ditch BM entirely. So sad that SS went back on their word regarding continued development.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

If only this would support Sirius radio. Or now that they've merged, I wonder if it'll work? I doubt it...

Any of you know of a good alternative to Beyond Media? I can't believe theres nothing better out there, even after all this time of the lack of support and development of BM.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

UPDATED to version 1.2 with new channel logos. See first post.

And this only supports whatever Sirius XM pushes to their online streaming service through xmradio.com, which differs slightly from their satellite feed.

Thanks tmar. It works great. I for one appreciate the update!

Is it possible to update the text on the first posting for the version number and last update date? The version number showing in the post is still 1.1 and updated 2007. I wondered if it was uploaded yet when I tried it, but when you install it prompts with the v.1.2 overwriting 1.1.

Thanks again!

I love this plugin too, I'm glad to see some are still being updated. Great job, and thanks for the nice update!

Hi Kilrsat, thanks again for the update to this plugin in December.

XM recently added 4 new channels to their line-up (27, 53, 65 & 83.) So I was curious if the channels were listed in a xml file or some user updateable file that I could update myself. I see you have the channel graphics in a separate folder which is great, but I'm guessiing the channel data itself is compiled into the "SnapStream.Plugins.XMRadio.dll" file.

I was going to suggest that if you ever get around to doing another update to your plugin, if it would be possible to put the channel data into a xml or text file that more advanced users could update themselves in the future, for channel changes or additions.

So if it was as straight forward as changing or adding references to a channel number, name and graphic file, it would be relatively easy for users to do updates for channel changes on their own if they wanted. And that user could possible post the new text file and graphics here, saving you the trouble of recompiling for something as simple as a new channel.

Just a thought. Have a great day!

I'll provide an update to reflect the latest channel graphics soon however the channel lineup in the program will always have whatever is available on XMRO. For instance, channel 65 is there however it has the old graphic for The Rhyme.

Since the lineup automatically updates based on what XMRO puts online, I don't store the lineup. It is dynamically generated every time you load the plugin. Then each channel is linked to a channel graphic by channel number. So technically, this plugin auto updates the channel lineup but not the graphics. Make sense?

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (December 18 Update)

Updated to version 1.3. SEE BELOW FOR DOWNLOAD LINK

The biggest change is that I allowed for the XM Radio player to continue to play when exiting the XM Radio screen. Therefore, as long as Beyond Media is active, the XM Radio station you are on will play. In order to change or stop XM Radio from playing, the user needs to go back to the screen and hit the Stop button or 's' key.

Also,
Updated channel logos
Updated category list

Unfortunately, I am not able to update the first post link because the SSDN server no longer allows me to update my directory. Until it is fixed, use the link provided here:
