Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

This might be just a random thought, but I noticed on the XM Guide on the AOL site, there are a number of stations you can listen to for free. I wonder if it would be possible to have a "lite" version of the plugin that anyone could use with just those free stations. Might be totally impossible, but just a thought.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

The problem is that it requires the AOL player and is not free through the XM player on xmradio.com.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I suspected something like that might be the case.

My presets don't save between sessions.

tmar, you can use my sirius online account.

I'd really love a sirius plugin.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I'm not creating a Sirius plugin since the two companies are merging.

You have to be kidding.

Even if the merger goes through, it would take at least 2 years for it to be approved and for it to actually physically happen.

Oh well.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I'm not kidding. If someone else wants to create a Sirius plugin I can lend some support, but I reiterate. I've decided that I WON'T be creating a Sirius plugin. I hardly have time to work on other projects and with SS hardly paying attention to BM, I wonder if I should even give 1% to plugin development here :/

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

You know tmar... if you would quit your job and focused full time on developing plugins for BM you'd have plenty of time to create a Sirius plugin. I say forget about the other plugins you're selfishly creating and supporting in your free time, smash your distracting worldly possessions, move into the YMCA, start selling your plasma, and get to work on that damn Sirius plugin. For the love of GOD man! DO THE RIGHT THING!

My wife says I'm too sarcastic. But I think we all know she's full of sh*t.

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I understand that you're no longer working on this plugin but I was wondering if it would be a simple thing to completely remove the list on the left and the list on the right. I only want the channels in the middle. I can remove them visually from the screen but if you hit left or right, then moving up and down does nothing until you move left or right back to the middle. I'm just looking to remove them completely and only have the middle, there's no need to make it look good either, I'll take care of that part. Is this possible?

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I've been thinking about doing something like that, a switch to go from full screen to channel selection. I'll look at it.. Any other requests? I know I have to fix the presets issue where they sometimes don't save.

How about just showing the presets?

Thanks,

Lary

Re: [plugin] XM Radio (March 8 Update)

I would say, don't worry about the presets. Not a problem, making them gone should fix that
Since it's THAT many channels really, I think the channel list is really all that's needed...

I disagree, I would just like to see the presets.

Thanks,
