I have been trying beyond media for a few days now. Is it as lame as it seems to me? BTV rocks, but this seems like a .9 release and they want money for it. Anyone know of something else that might plug in seemlessly and feel more like a media manager? I can't see spending money for the current BM product. And from what I have gleened from this forum the folks at SS appear to have left it to die a slow painful death.

Beyond Media *WAS* cutting-edge (and I use that term loosely) when it first came out. Now, it's a ragged old piece of outdated software which should be considered abandonware!

There isn't anything else which seamlessly integrates with BTV unfortunately. I use Media Portal for everything except TV (at the moment).
