I have an AMD K6-2 450 with 192 MB RAM and an ATI XPERT 99 w/32MB RAM. I'm using a Hauppauge PCI TV card w/latest VFW drivers. I've read about the problems with Hauppauge and VIA chips and have downloaded the 4 in 1 drivers, but I still have a couple problems: the video I get, except in a very small window, has black lines through it. This carries over into recording and additionally, the video repeats sometimes. In other words, 2-3 seconds worth of video and audio gets played a couple times. Any insights?

Are you experiencing this kind of problem with Hauppauge's software as well as ours? Is it something you see only when you capture video or do you see something of the sort when you watch live TV?

I have the same issue. Hauppauge tells me to update to BIOS version 1.4. This doesn't help. You will need to purchase either a different motherboard, or purchase a USB TV Tuner Card.

It sucks. We all know it. I spent 6 months of my time trying to fix it. Spend the $79.99 and you can skip on the Asprin.

If for some chance you find a cure to this sickly disease, please let me know.
