Monthly charges for EPG?

TIVO charges a monthly fee for access to the electronic programing guide (EPG). The new ATI TV/Tuner cards come with a software product called Guide Plus which has no monthly fee for schedule information. How are you going to charge for the EPG? Will the data be available indefinitely for the $50.00 cost of the software? Or are you planning on charging an additional fee on an ongoing basis? This is very important to know before purchasing any product to get an EPG.

This answer hasn't been answered primarily because the EPG hasn't been implemented. There is a 3rd party app (check the developer section) that uses guidescraper from PTVL (Pocket TV Lisitings) and TV Guide to generate a EPG. But this is a third party app and he hasn't been able to get back to the app after he first released it. It's pretty good it just needs searching and better navigation.
