Channel Surfing

Watching a stream while it is recording is working great for me. However I'd like to see it go one further, and just add the capability to encode and stream without recording - ie, channel surf like a real TV. Maybe a pop-up window with the media screen and 2 drop-downs... 1) channel, and 2) quality. (obvious limitations - only one person can control it at any given time, and you can't channel surf while recording something else)

Any plans to do something like this in the future?
