Hello Everyone
Great product guys! However, I was just wondering. I run my own http/ftp/telnet server from home via a DSL line. I use this to mostly lookup files and administor my network from remote locations. Lately I've managed to hook up some X10 home automation components to control some lights and things around the home via the web. Check out www.misterhouse.com (http://www.misterhouse.com) . Anyways, I am now thinking of taking this one step further and possibly thinking of setting up a WAP gateway and develope some interfaces that can allow me to control the x10 devices via my cell phone and wireless palm.
After using Snapstream's web interface remotely (mostly from work or hotel rooms) to configure my show recordings. I was wondering if it is possible to modify the front end snapstream web interface to work with wireless devices such as the palm pilot. Which uses a technique called web clipping to make otherwise complex web pages to be functional on the small palm screens.
Imagine, being able to schedule your favorite shows for recording by using your pda or a wap enabled cell phone?. Any takers???.. Let me know, I would love to contribute my time developing the wap side of things or possibly the PQA web clipping file for the wireless palms. http://discuss.snapstream.com/ubb/cool.gif
Thanks
Neal
