It appears that the BTV database has the wrong channel for KGO-TV 701 in SF. The BTV database (from advanced settings) lists the channel for 701 as rf channel 35. As a result, BTV won't let me tune my PC tuners to channel 701. My TV set receives 701 on this channel just fine. 702 and 703 are correctly listed as VHF channel 7, and the PC tuners receive 702 and 703 just fine.
I'd like to get this corrected because now I can't record any of the 701 programs.
Any advice as to how to get this accomplished?

Notify Zap2it.com about the issue.. BTV gets the listings from them..

I notified zap2it and they claim they are sending the correct data to BTV.

KGO-TV 7-1 currently has an rf channel of 7 in the SnapStream.Net database. Have you tried deleting and re-creating your lineup?

I also have been having the same problem for the last few months. I kept getting the "no data for 30 seconds error" and tried all of these things:
1. reload software from scratch - XP SP2, no updates and no other programs.
2. bought new capture card - Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250
3. saw that the 1250 was not on the supported list, so i bought a 2nd Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 (i have two of them now).
4. changed all cards and BTV to another computer.
5. bought a preamp online in case my signal was too weak.
All of my TVs show the signal for 7.1 KGO at about 90%.
It wasn't until i decided to watch TV on the tuner card did I see that only channel 7.1 was not working. I cannot get 7.1 to come in on any of my 3 tuner cards.
All of that said, did anyone find a solution to this?
Bill1426, 7.1 is an over the air HD signal.
Appreciate the help - heyfata

I had the same issue with KGO and adapted the solution in the "Toronto OTA Changes Not Updating In BeyondTV (http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/showthread.php?t=51982)" thread. Below are the steps for setting up KGO. This solution has been working for me for about 2 weeks now without any issues.
What you need to do is create a Custom Lineup on Snapstream.net:
Notes:
· Keep in mind that you are allowed a maximum of 4 lineups. So be sure you have 3 or less before you create a new one with this procedure.
1. Go to: http://www.snapstream.net/configure/CustomLineupWizard.aspx
2. Enter a "Friendly Name" (e.g. "SF Bay Area") and make sure the "Lineup Type" is set to "ATSC".
3. Click on the Import Channels button on the top left.
4. Choose your Country and click Next.
5. Enter your Zip Code and click Next.
6. Select Antenna (Digital).
7. Click Finish.
8. Check all of the channels you receive OTA for which you want to receive Guide Data and then click "Import" at the bottom of the page.
9. Make sure you check KGODT, KGODT2, and KGODT3 and leave KGOLD, KGOLD2, KGOLD3 unchecked.
10. Click on "Save and Exit".
11. Go to the WebAdmin and select Settings -> Basic Settings -> SnapStream.Net Settings and click on “Download Program Guide Information”.
12. Wait for the guide update to complete.
13. In the WebAdmin, select Settings -> Basic Settings -> Audio and Video Inputs.
14. For each tuner: Click on Edit Settings and change the Channel Lineup to the new “Friendly Name” (set in step 2) from the dropdown box. Click on Save Changes.
15. Optionally select Customize Lineup and check the box(es) for the channel(s) you do not want to appear in the program guide. This only has to be done once.
Zap2It is sending Snapstream the proper guide information, but the Snapstream guide server that sends the channel information to your BTV doesn't send out the proper channel information. I think the lineup server is using the channel's Major and Minor values as a "primary key" but ignores the Physical value. In the case of KGO, both KGODT and KGOLD have the same Major (7) and Minor (1-3), but different Physicals (7 and 35, respectively). Since KGOLD has a higher Physical value, either the lineup server is replacing KGODT with KGOLD or BTV does that.

Thanks to everyone for their help. Channels have been running great since the adding a custom lineup.
