CPU Upgrade

Whew! I'm on a spending spree this week! I just purchased a mini keypad (http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/home-theater-pc-discussion/51030-interesting-keyboard-choice-htpc.html) and now I'm getting a QX6700 for my server. Just about the fastest cpu I can get for my motherboard compatibility-wise (http://www.abit.com.tw/cpu-support-list/mb/ati_rs600_f-i90hd.htm). I got it $300 shipped, so not too bad for that chip.

I'm stepping up from a 2.1 GHz Dual-Core proc to a 2.6 GHz Quad-Core proc, so it should be interesting how much faster and reliable the SmartChapter process will be compared to what I'm experiencing now. It looks like it could be here as soon as Jul 1, so I'll have a good 3-day weekend free to get it installed.

Had to wait outside our office for FedEx to arrive. The distribution facility is only 10 mins away from our office, but apparently the driver got lost. He had to have the dispatch create a map for him. Otherwise the chip would have been delivered earlier this morning.
