Now isn't he supposed to spend a whole bunch of time with that archaeologist from teh library before he regenerates? I tell you, continuity in this series really needs work, I assume its an occupational hazard when you work in time travel.

good point. Did not think of that. If only they could keep the actors interested. Doctor 9 we barely got to know him. I like David, but I really wanted more episodes with 9.

I still say, make a spinoff, coop with Scifi network, call it Timewar (tm). Start with Paul McGann (aged, near the end of his timeline) and chronicle the Tiemlord Dalek war, through the regeneration to Chris Eccleston, to the end of the Time Lords. Fill in that crap like how the master got executed on Skaro (WTF?) and hint at some of those secrets about the Doctor and Rassillon, Omega (someone here had some interesting theories, was it Rich?)
Prequels can destroy a series or fix most errors, and it gives actors a second chance.
