What is it?
Basically has you answer the question, "What are you doing now?" in 140 characters or less.

I thought it was pretty pointless when I first heard about it, but I started using it for kicks and have found it to be pretty addictive. I also find some good links from others, as well as, interesting news and tidbits.

If anyone cares to follow my less-than-exciting life you can find me here:

I've considered it, but I'm not sure I want to be THAT connected. The concept is almost like a Facebook pager of sorts. It's not that I'm overly private, but my life tends to be pretty boring most of the time... Still, I'm thinking about trying it.

Something I do use more now is digg (http://www.digg.com/). I use it to find HTPC and tech-related articles and to discuss them. If anyone is interested in joining my geeky venture there let me know or just add me as a friend. That way you see what stories I digg and I'll see the ones you like. My username on digg is (you guessed it) "cfaslave".

For keeping up with news and interesting articles I use Google Reader. I can browse through a ton of great content, including digg, then share the ones I find interesting. You can checkout my shared links here:

I thought, and kinda still do think, the same thing about Twitter, but just find it sadly addictive right now. My life is sad, but as I mentioned I do get to see some interesting stuff (outside of what I read and what's listed on Digg).

Oh yeah, Google Reader is my favorite of all. Forgot to mention that one.

Feeds me regular news and more. Talk about addictive...

Ya know, I am not a twitter user, but for those that are wouldn't it be interesting if someone would build a plugin that would tweet everytime that BTV started recording and (optionally) everytime that BTV or Link watched a show. Another option would be to tweet errors and the channel updates that we are starting to have fun with.

Any developers wanna take this on? Then I might have to become a tweeter.
