Hello everybody,
As we approach our next beta release for Personal Video Station Quartz (early next week), we thought we would let all of you know what to expect:
The Fullscreen Interface:
We are pleased to announce that the new interface looks almost exactly like the mockups released last month (http://www.snapstream.com/news/updates/fullscreen.htm), although TrickPlay* is not yet complete.
SS.NET Remote Recordings:
You can now schedule recordings remotely by logging on to SnapStream.NET and your SnapStream PC will receive and record your selections.
DivX Support:
Users that have DivX installed will be able to record videos in DivX format as well as play them back on their PlayStation2 game consoles via our partner, BroadQ LLC's Qcast Tuner (http://www.broadq.com/).
*Trickplay features include the pause, rewind, and fast forward of live TV. Trickplay will be in the following release approximately a month from now.
