View Full Version : VMR color saturation adjustment?

This seems like it should be obvious, but I can't find a way to adjust the color saturation of video playback in BeyondTV. I'm using an nvidia 7600gs video card in VMR9 (3d Accelerated) connected to a Samsung DLP via VGA cable. The colors are presently considerably oversaturated, and I can't find a way to adjust them. BeyondTV doesn't give you an option to adjust color saturation via the menu. The nvidia drivers (93.71) do not offer an adjustment for color saturation except in overlay. And the Samsung doesn't allow saturation adjustment on the VGA connection. Theatertek and ZoomPlayer can play back my recordings quite well and they both offer saturation adjustment natively. Unfortunately, such is not the case with BeyondTV. I can (and have) adjusted the recording saturation of the PVR-250, but the source of the over saturated colors isn't in the recordings, it's in the playback (I've confirmed by playing back recordings on other PCs). Any recommendations? I'm frustrated that something so simple as adjusting color is beyond my ability here ... can't do it with BeyondTV, nor nvidia, nor the television ... what gives with that?

Running dual 7600's here...I've noticed the color saturation issue as well...it's about the last thing I need to tweak in order to complete my set-up. The colors are just a smidge too much.
A fix for this, or a pointer in the right direction would be nice so I can be done tinkering and get rid of my TiVo for good!
Anyone?
