Using BTV without antenna [Archive]

Will this work?

I have a 56MX195 Toshiba HDTV getting OTA HD signals. I want to have a PC with a IEEE 1394 (Firewire) PCI card. I want to connect the IEEE1394 port from the TV to the IEEE1394 card in the PC. Then use BTV to record the signal to the hard disk on PC.

Then send back the recorded stream through the IEEE1394 card, IEEE1394 port on the TV and then watch it on the tv later

How can I get something like this to work?

I don't think you can get that to work in the BTV environment. I know there has been a long time plea from some users here for Firewire support. But as of yet it is not supported.
