Hello I have a Kworld Digital/ Analog HDTV Turner PCI ATSC-110.

problem having-
I'm having problems getting channels to show up when set-up dose a line-up scan. All channels are undetected? I have the set-up set where I can watch cable on my PC. I'm using the current Beyond TV program.

Set-up to turner card-
I have the coaxial cable from the coaxial output from the wall to the coaxial input on the back of the TV tuner card hooked up right. Pluged into the analog antenna input. I have no HDTV antenna.

Driver intalled

ATSC 110Version1.3.2.7.5

Pc Specs-
I have basic cable and high speed internet. I have Win XP HE, ATI Radeon 7000 AGP, 256mb memory,1.4AMD athlon,300gig harddrive space etc. So what could be the problem? I've contacted Snapstream and got no answers yet.

What could be the issue here? I'm need all the help I can get. I brought the program to record my favorite show while I was at work. So it sucks to not be able to use a card due to some program problems. Thanks for any help anybody can offer here.

In BTV, are you selecting this as Digital Antenna or Standard Cable? Make sure you select "standard cable" since you're not using the HD features of the card.

This is what I have set it to and have the problem. I have it set to standard cable and get this problem. This is why I don't understand what's going on.

A number of folks have had trouble with the analog input on this card. Mine works great for HD, but the analog input doesn't work worth crap. I have basic cable for the local channels, and it only picks up channels 5 & 6. It will pick up my 4 modulators on channels 85, 87, 91 & 93 as well, but the low channels just don't work.

I emailed Kworld and their technical support was useless, trying to blame my cable when I can take the same cable and connect it to one of my Hauppauge cards and it works fine.

I'm hoping a newer driver sometime will fix the problem, but the beta driver that came out recently sure didn't.

Thanks! I thought it was just me!:grr: This sucks! I brought the card just for recording in better quality! At first I thought it might be drivers when it is! It also shows this in the BTV set-up 713xBDA Analog Capture. Is this the drivers or what?

It's strange. I tried just about everything. Switching port etc. No luck! I even thought it might be the software. I too hope that Kworld would fix this. This is not right for customers. I paid over $100 for this card to not work. mann!

Yes, 713xBDA Analog Capture is the right device. I think it uses a Philips 713xBDA tuner.

One thing to think about though, is that it is a software-based tuner, which means it will use your cpu to do the encoding, rather than a hw-based encoder like the PVR150. I only wanted the analog input as a 4th tuner for streaming and for the rare occasions when I need to record 4 things simultaneously.

I'd recommend getting a PVR150 or PVR150MCE or such and use it for your primary analog captures. They are always going on sale at Compusa or Buy.com for around $60 and are well worth it.

I have an Kworld ATSC-110, NO PROBLEM.

The ATSC 110 Version 1.3.2.7.5 Driver, is OLD.

The ATSC 110 Version 1.3.3.1 Driver, is NEW.

I have both Cable(Analog) and OTA(HDTV) working with my Kworld ATSC-100 PC HDTV Tuner Card.

The Only Problem for channel's showing up - is when you Add the Tuner Capture Devices. Since I have both Cable & OTA, you have to disconnect one of them when you scan for channel's. I forgot which one - try it both ways.

I think it was Scan OTA first, then Cable. Also if not done in right sequence - it might scan all channels for both Cable & OTA, but later
you won't be able to select Channel in Beyond TV to view.

Great HDTV for Colts Football, I'm using an Terk HDTVo in the Attic - picks up all my local channels in Indianapolis. One HDTV Channel is VHF - why I like this antenna. All my brodcast stations are in an 10 Degree Arc and 15 Miles away. This antenna is highly directional, so I wouldn't recomend it your
stations aren't in an 10-15 arc and less than 20 miles away. Mine is in an One-Story Home with clear line of sight.
