Can't change the channel when viewing the Live TV

I Can't change the channel when viewing the Live TV i.e. can't change the tv channel from SnapStream from channel 2 to any different channel.
Any Idea?

Are you using basic cable or a cable box? Are you using a video capture card? Are you using a remote control? What are your software/system specs?

I've used basic cable (not cable box) and the KWORD Digital/Analog HDTV Tuner PCE (ATST-110 Driver) on MS Window SP (SP2, not SP Media).

BTV version 3.8? Don't you mean version 3.74?

In any case, I'm not familiar with the "KWORD Digital/Analog HDTV Tuner PCE". I do know that BTV will not capture HDTV prior to version 4.0. And in version 4.0, it will only capture HDTV from "other the air" broadcast HDTV signals.

Regardless, does the "KWORD Digital/Analog HDTV Tuner PCE" have the ability to change channels using you basic cable configuration? Most capture cards have this ability through basic cable (i.e. non-cable box).

Are you using the keyboard to try and change channels? Or are you using some sort of remote?

I'm pretty sure 3.8 was bundled with some HDTV tuners, it wasn't available for purchase seperatly. If it works like 4.0 I dont think it works with the analog channels only the OTA HDTV channels. As to why it won't change channels I can only guess it might have something to do with the selected lineup.

It's just a basic cable w/o HDTV and I only used mouse/keyboard (not remoter)
to change the channel.

I forgot to mention that I can change the channel on the Testing Selected Lineup Dialog during the setup, but not able to change the channel in the Beyond TV SE application.

In your post you have it listed as a HDTV card. In the BTV specifications that card is listed under the digital capture cards. So again I'm putting my $$ on it's a HDTV capture card and if you have a basic cable linup selected that is your problem. Try re running the setup wizard and choose Antenna (Digital) and let it find the channles. If you don't have an antenna that could be a limiting factor.

I think it related to the Beyond TV SE application, since It can change the channel during the setup wizard

Can you describe what you are doing when you try to change the channel ? Are you entering the numbers and waiting ? entering and hitting enter ? There is a setting that is set to wait for user enter by default. You can change it in Web Admin/Settings/Advanced Settings/Video Playback Settings/Channel Change Latency

Change the playback setting time (.5 for example) will fix the problem. Many thanks!
