View Full Version : tvtv not working anymore

Since the upgrade to btv4 beta tvtv is not importing schedules i set in the website anymore.
Today i thought i might need to recreate the lineup and so i did but instead of fixing the thing it created one more annoyance: all recordings that were still scheduled from tvtv when i was in 3.7.4 were deleted.
Changing the lineup to the previous one did not bring them back (as it did in 3.7.4 when i was experimenting with xmltv), so i have no epg, tvtv is not working and i can only schedule manual recordings.

Did anyone have similar issues?

We spotted this in house the other day, it will be fixed for the next release.

Ok glad you're fixing this... in the meantime I guess i will have to go back to 3.7.4, do i just run the old installer and it will downgrade?

it worked for me with 4.0. and stopped today with update to 4.1. VERY ANNOYING

If you backed up your 3.7.4 before you upgraded just run the installer and then restore.

same here

upgraded from btv 4.0 to 4.1 and tvtv not updating anymore.

any suggestions/fixes?

Upgrade to the latest beta version, it has been corrected. From the Beta site: "We also included fixes to address several TVTV issues and scheduling with manual recordings. "

If you registered on the new beta site you should have received an email about the 4.1 and 4.2 beta...

but i'm not a current beta tester.
but is beta registration invitation-only?
is there a beta signup page link you may have to self-register
are the 4.1X beta soft packages available elsewhere
