Sir\Ma'am - I am using a Hpge.WinTV-USB card running Windows 2000 on a Dell laptop. The video records fine, however, the audio can only be heard a little over the loud "snow" sound like an untuned TV. I have installed the latest drivers from hpge, and have Window's encoder installed with Windows Media Player. I have also installed DirectX 8.0. I checked the recording profile and line is selected and set at the highest level. Please assist.
