"Record Now" problem?

Hi,

I just installed version 1.1.
Version 1.1 has fixed my tuning problems, but
now I'm finding that ssw.exe will crash
whenever I try to select "Record Now".

However, setting a timer and having the timer start the recording works without problems!

is this something you are seeing exclusively in the new version of PVS (v1.1)? can you give any more details? like, what is the error message, and precisely when does it pop-up?

I'm having the same problem with Record Now, and the error message that comes up just says that an error log will be created.

This is v1.1 freeware installed on top of a v1.0 freeware. Win2000, AverMedia TV98, WDM. System worked fine under v1.0 with scheduled and immediate recordings.

Error log from Event viewer was sent to "Development@" address.

The program errors out once the page is refreshed and you're given the "Recording will stop when you cancel" screen.

take a look at the just-posted 1.10a -- we improved if not eliminated the record now situation. try it and let us know. --Rakesh

Thanks for the prompt reply. Version 1.10a has fixed my "Record Now" problems.

(The problem wasn't there in Version1.0, but only appeared after I installed version 1.1.)
