Maybe you'd better try to use MS Media tools 4.1 and select it as the Capture interface.I encoutered the same problem and even worse:PVS can't tune the channel (AIW 128 in Win98/Me/2K),Did you installed the most recent drivers for win2K supplyed by ATI or in the WIN2K packge? and which item do you select in the Tunning Interface ,"ATI VE/AIW TV driver for Win98/Me only "?

I have installed the latest ATI drivers. I actually have found another problem. When I run the first time setup, it tells me the card is already in use and to free it up and run first time setup again.

The fix to this problem is to disable NetMeeting Remote Desktop sharing, if you have enabled it. When you enable this it takes control of the video card and does not let anything else use it.
