Firefly Remote intermitantly stops responding

I have a firefly remote and it seems that intermittantly it stops responding..almost like its in a dormant state and after a second or 2 after I press the remote it comes out of that mode and then works ok. I am running XP and the firefly is USB. Is there a timeout or sleep mode setting for USB or Firefly?

When you say a second or 2 do you really mean 1-2 seconds?

I am having this problem, but it is more like 20-30 seconds. Pissing me off big time.

Well it looks like if I end task on the X10NETS process and restart firefly it goes back to normal.

So at least there is some work around.
