Can't anyone help?

Can't anyone provide any suggestions as to why I can't tune channels with my Avermedia TV98. I record a blue screen. After attemping to use SnapStream, other software that provides no tuning also records blue screen. I can use other software to tune to a channel again.
Any help would be appreciated.
