VFD support?

Is there a way to enable VFD support with Beyond Media? I can get detailed information on my VFD when MCE plays media files but BM doesn't do anything. I'm sure this isn't a simple issue but I'm a n00b so point me in the right direction and I'll gladly do the reading.

I am not aware of any BM support for LCD/VFD. There is a BTV plugin for LCD Smartie. Many of us would like to see direct VFD/LCD support in a future BM release.

However, given the other problems in BM (particularly with DVD playback) that I have experienced, this wouldn't be the first item on my list.

That's a real bummer on both counts. I haven't had issues with DVD playback but I've only tested it but never really sat down to use it for enjoying movies.

I wonder, could there be a way to get VFD support using Girder?
