Quick clarification -- what tv card exactly are you using? Is it by AverMedia? The TV98 option is for their card, but I can't find a match for the product name you have listed.
In any case, we've had problems with the AverMedia cards being unable to change channels within our application, and this may be the problem you're encountering. I'll check with the programmers and see what I can find out.
Some quick questions:
1) Are you able to use your card just fine with other software (changing channels correctly, etc.)?
2) Did you select the tuner as your input when you ran the setup wizard? This is where we ran into a different problem with the TV98 card, where it wouldn't let us choose the tuner as an input. Switching to the latest drivers really caused problems ("You should reinstall the application" message in their own software), but we were able to correct it by getting a slightly later revision from AverMedia's Taiwan site. However, that was all on a Windows98SE machine, so it may not help you here.
Anyway, I will post as soon as I learn something. Thanks,
Frank Garcia

I am using a Phoebemicro MagicTView TV Master+FM with Remote.
Website: http://www.phoebemicro.com
Win2k Driver: http://www.phoebemicro.com/drivers/2000/TV/tvmasterw2k.htm
I can change channel with all my other software, and only tview 5.0 used the remote.
Thanks

We've sent e-mails to Phoebe Micro requesting developer support for their TV tuner card. Stay tuned for further info.
