Nothing Happens

I try to do the diagnostic test and nothing happens. It sets it up, but there is never anything to watch when its done. I have the microsoft tools installed and tested. Running w2k pro, ie 5.01, and ati all-in-wonder 128.

I'm not certain that SnapStream PVS will tune the ATI card correctly under Win2000...has to do with their drivers, which I believe are different between Win2K and Win98. I'll get someone here to look into it, though.

In the meantime, I'll just cut and paste the same reply as the other message:

If you're comfortable doing this, go to the directory you installed SnapStream PVS in, and edit the ssd.ini file so that the [Log] Section has Log=1. The RootDir variable should point where the log files are going.
Start up the app and e-mail me the log that is generated. It might help me figure out what is happening.

Watch the console or the log as you run the test...and see if you notice anything funny going on.

You might check to make sure the show directory exists.. It wasn't created by the installer on my machine (Win 2k Pro), and the program didn't give me any errors it just didn't record until I created the directory manually.

I had the same problem with the failure to create the show directory on a WIN98 machine. Worked great once I created it manually.
