While looking at other PVR technologies I still like Snapstream for the simple fact that I can watch TV at work over the internet. I can record my shows and watch them when I have some spare time. But while setting up Snapstream and Windows Media Encoder 7 I thought of a GREAT idea. I notice that WME7 had a broadcast setting. Why can't you include that into snapstream. This could even be a separate product in itself. You can connect to you computer and select a channel and bitrate and stream it to you. An option to watch a show as it is being recording would be nice too. This way you can actually increase the value of a tv card. You can have a PVR Server setup and watch live TV on any number of networked computers. Of course you can only watch one station and if a scheduled recording comes up the PVR should regain control of the TV Card. I'm not sure how this would work but this would make ME happy.
