I am trying to set this up in the uk.

With first attempt at installation meant I was able to get BBC1 to work but could not get any other channels to record .... they just recorded BBC1.

So I de-installed and re-installed and now I can't record anything other than white noise.

I have a Hauppauge Win TV theatre card which works with out problem.

BBC1 is on Hauppauge Channel 70 which I have entered into the SnapStream Channel set up screen as both 863.25 & 863250000.
BBC2 is on Hauppauge Channel 63 which I have entered into the SnapStream Channel set up screen as both 807.25 & 807250000.
ITV is on Hauppauge Channel 60 which I have entered into the SnapStream Channel set up screen as both 783.25 & 783250000.
Channel 4 is on Hauppauge Channel 66 which I have entered into the SnapStream Channel set up screen as both 831.25 & 831250000.
Channel 5 is on Hauppauge Channel 54 which I have entered into the SnapStream Channel set up screen as both 735.25 & 735250000.

I'd really appreciate help in getting this to work.

Thanks
Mal

Following up my own post :-)

I hadn't realised that the channel set up meant you had to co-relate the channel number with the channel setting on the Hauppauge card. It seems silly now but not intuitive for me :-(

So I got that sorted out and hit the "I can only recod one channel" problem referred to in this forum.

I am using WDM drivers so I am going to try the VFW ones now.....

Hi Mal,

How have the VFW drivers worked out for you? Did they solve the tuning problem?

Yes, the new drivers have sorted out the tuning problem .... plus I now understand more about how the TV card works!!

I have the problem I described in the other post about the sound on the right channel disappearing after 5 seconds of recording and the left channel getting muffled.

If you have advice on how to overcome that, Frank, I'd be v. grateful.
