Briar needs help

I know that briars from Kentucky can't use these hi-tech devices, BUT I can't get the sound to record properly using either WDM or VFW. The sound comes through the speakers while recording, but does not record.

In addition, I would like to know why the last file recorded is not available for viewing. I always have to record an additional file just so that I can see the diagnostics or other file that I may have recorded.

is your "auto adjust mixer" option enabled? this is the setting on the "recording settings" page at the very bottom. you'll need to make this setting by editing the ssd.ini and changing the AutoAdjustMixer=1 to AutoAdjustMixer=0

maybe this will fix the problem, let us know.
