Snapstream works fine when viewing from the host machine, but when I try to watch from a remote location over the internet, I get about 2 seconds of video in Media Player 7, then the error "Invalid or corrupt data was encountered."
Please let me know if I should can more information.
Is it that quick? We've encountered the problem in house but it's very difficult to reproduce and recognize.
Can you let us know what recording engine you are using, and what profile you are recording with?
One workaround is to use Media Player 6.4, which does not exhibit this behavior.

Yep, it's that quick.
I'm using Windows Media Encoder 7.0. And you're right, using media player 6.4 to view it does not reproduce the error.
Looks to me like it occurs when the recording quality is too high for your bandwidth. I had recorded at "Near VHS" and received the error. When I did a diagnostic and set the quality to "Cable/DSL" the error no longer occured.
Hope this explains it.
