activity log font size is too small

One of the changes mentioned for beta 3d was in improved format for the activity log. Well, when I open it up, the font size is so small I have a very hard time reading it. I have to cut and past it into word and change the font size to read it.

My resolution is 1024x768 and because I just did a fresh install of winme everything eles is default. so I have not played any games with default fonts. In any case, could you look into making sure the font size doesn’t get too small.

There seem to be some bugs in the code that handles drawing the different elements of the new-style Activity Log window. I have seen the same problem you are describing one a couple of our machines -- I don't think I've ever seen Windows use such a tiny font! On one of my personal machines, I've actually had a quite different problem: the font size is actually a touch on the large side, and as a result, the text at the top actually disappears at the border of the next window element.

We are fixing this problem, and the next release should again have a legible activity log.

For now, your cut and paste suggestion is an excellent way to work around the problem. I'm sorry about all this; it looks like our good intentions in adding the new features to the activity log have introduced a new bug or two that didn't surface during our in-house testing. http://discuss.snapstream.com/ubb/redface.gif

Hi,

The font issue should be fixed now. We switched the font we use to a more standard stock font. Apparently the customized font we chose didn't render properly on all systems. The new one should.
