My System is:

Win98, 366 Pentium, 64 MB mem, 45 Gig.
My tuner card is a STB TV PCI, which works very nicely with the STB Software, as well as other third party video capture progs such as AVI_IO. These programs succesfully autotune the stations.

My Snapstream settings:
Source-Cable
Capture Interface-Directshow
DirectShow Video Device-Brooktree 848 Card
DirectShow Audio Device-Soundmax Record
Tuning Interface-Directshow

When I do a test capture to record Ch 9, it records Ch 2, and i can hear it, even after the test recording stops the sound is still on ch 2. The recording is ok but is of course the wrong channel.

Q1. How do I correct my tunner mixup?
Q2. Why does my sondcard keep playing after the capture has completed?
Q3. What is WDM and is it supperior to VFW? Q4. If so how do I get WDM.
Q5 Where can I get Snapstream compatible drivers?
Q6. What is SMW95.DRV (See below)

Occasionally I get the following GPF as soon as I start a capture.
