1) I install 2 network card on my PC, one for cable modem IP eg.202.156.... and the other for local network IP eg.192.168....
2) I install the snapstream and set the recording.

What I found during the testing:
1) at the :8129 administration watch shows, both the watch and download link are working perfectly.
2) I enable html file generate. When I view from other PC using internet connection eg http://202.156..../shows.html I see the web pages since I have install the web server on the PC.
3) I click on the watch and download link and it shows different IP connection. At the download, it show http://202.156..../???.asf but the watch link shows http://192.168..../???.asf
can anyone tell me what happen?

The dynamic html page generation defaults to your first listed IP, which is unfortunately your internal IP address. There is no way for SnapStream to determine the real IP you are trying to connect to as it can when you use its web server.

The only way I can think of to get around this would be to add a user-specified IP option of some sort.

Rkuo,
In that case how to I set my web server IP as first IP configuration. If I set to the first IP, will it reset to the second IP?

Maybe if you rearrange your net cards so that the one with your REAL ip is first in the PCI slots? Sorta like primary and secondary video cards. The first one in the PCI slot order is the primary card.

Tried changing slots but unsucessful. PC may be prioritising 192.168.0.1 (LAN) before 202.X.X.X (cable modem)

Also tried to change 192.X.X.X to some other address especially a sequence greater than 202.X.X.X. The local area network does not recognise each other.

Is it possible for Snapstream to allow the IP to be explicitly specified by the user.

Please help.

Manage to sucessfully set the LAN IP to 212.X.X.X to try take priority over the cable modem's 202.X.X.X

Does not work. Snapstream automatically changes "Watch" IP to 212.X.X.X instead of locating the cable modem 202.X.X.X
