Game Module

I have been using Meedio, but to be honest, lately updates have gotten so slow and the tv program from BTV is way better, i am hoping someone would love to create a game module, so we can import games from mame, super nintendo, genesis, etc. If i knew how to program i would get started, but i am wondering is anyone planning anything or could anyone work on something like that. Because then really i believe with the dvd catalog plugin being worked on, this is the last piece being needed.

Well actually...

This plugin has been thought out and if someone else does not step up to complete it, I will likely be working on it sometime in the future. However, at the moment I am more involved in completing another plugin.

Welcome, but, ah, Beyong Media has NEVER had an update. 1.0 came out 3 months ago!!!!!!!

Welcome, but, ah, Beyong Media has NEVER had an update. 1.0 came out 3 months ago!!!!!!!He was referring to Meedio. Development for Beyond Media is currently being done internally, no updates have been announced for it yet though.

I rather think that was the point - Meedio's updates are slow, but BM's are - thus far - non-existant. :-)

Regardless of how many updates or lack there of, it seems beyond media is more stable then meedio even if they are not all they way there yet. But i am still taking a year off and waiting for developments, and hopefully in a years time we will see where meedio, beyond media, and media portal are in development, and i will make my decision then to who to finally start my htpc project on.

It may not be what you are looking for, but I use a Mame Emulator that can easily be read on my TV and that can be controlled with my USB controllers... I then just add it to my BM list and it runs pretty seemless except it looks different...
