I currently have the latest Beyond Media installed and my only options for DVD Codec are the already installed Intervideo DVD Codec. Any ideas why?
Thanks in advance,

It only installs the included codec (Cyberlink) if you provide a retail key during install. If you installed the trial and then entered your new key, you'll need to reinstall to get the codec.
I think.

I purchased BM from the web site and got a retail key. I used that key during install.. odd

Download the Microsoft MPEG2 DVD Decoder Checkup program: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=DE1491AC-0AB6-4990-943D-627E6ADE9FCB&displaylang=enYou can see if it is really installed or not. If it is, you can use this program to set a codec as the system wide default for MPEG2 files.
