I am rapidly moving away from BM 1.0 (Trial) back to BM basic due to performance problems on my machine.

I can live with using WM playlists to select the music to play and photos / videos are more responsive under BM Basic, however the only option I am missing is the ability to shuffle the playlist.

Is there a key combination, FF button or another hack that will achieve this?

Any help much appreciated.

I don't know if there's a shortcut, but I think the shortcut O (or right mouseclick) gets you to the consel popup which shoud have a shuffle checkbox. I thought R was the shortcut for this, but can't remember and am away from my box. I have been able to shuffle playlists through the consol.

Do you know if there's a shortcut to switch between playlist and regular view (say like album view to playlist view). Currently I go through the console, but I'm statring to run out of assignable shortcut buttons on my remote.

I think that this shortcut only applies to the full version of BM, I am trying to shuffle in BM basic that ships with firefly 1.2 and neither R or the option screen appear to have a shuffle option.

I made a basic Windows freeware which shuffles and reorders .m3u playlists and has a batch playlist shuffling feature which can be launched automatically on selected playlists when Windows starts. I made and use it because my TwonkyMusic server does no shuffle nor my Noxon uPnp player ... boring when you want a background music ! I hope it can help you.
