Hi,

I am using Firefly on a new Dell XPS with ATI Radeon 9800XT, Windows XP Pro, SP2, Beyond TV, USB-UIRT, and a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 USB2. When Firefly starts-up, it shows the normal start-up graphic in the center of my screen. However, this splash screen never goes away.

The firefly task is visible in the Windows Task Manager, but the program does not respond in any way, and of course, the remote does not work.

I am getting a red light on the firefly USB receiver.

It worked last week, but died in the last few days. The only thing I did was install some drivers for my Canon digital camera.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Eddie

Hey Ed

That's wierd. Ussually it's just the opposite. Are you using the latest drivers for FF>1.2 I think?

Is FF set to run at startup? If so change it and see if that works. If not uninstall the camera drivers and try FF. Last resort would be to save any odd profiles and uninstall ff.

Another thing to look at is if you are using a myblaster.

Thanks.

I am using v 1.2.0.816. Funny, I reloaded the software, and the problem went away....perhaps something I installed after I installed Firefly the first time created a problem....we'll see.
