changing the default pictures and music folders?

how can i point BMB to different folders than My Pictures and My Music for the photo and music content?

i actually store my collections on different drives, not using the microsoft default scheme. i've tried TweakUI but those folders don't show up in the list of "Change Location" choices.

Go into:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Snapstream\Firefly

You will see two files that will contain what your looking for:
SnapStream.Firefly.Player.MainForm.xml
SnapStream.Firefly.SlideShow.MainForm.xml

hey, thanks for the prompt response. i looked at those files and they seem to only keep the last directory i was looking at. my aim is that, when i click on "Photos" in BMB, it will always go to a particular directory of my choosing (like D:\Photos), not just the last directory i was in.

any further suggestions?

I would change the settings in windows. You can use Tweak UI XP change the "special folders" for My Documents, My Photos, My Music, Etc. to whatever folder you like instead of what windows gives you as a default. That's what I did since I have my photos, music, and videos on other drives. Otherwise BMB will look at what is the default folders for "My" directory folders. You should be able to get Tweak UI XP at Microsoft. Just do a search for Microsoft Tweak UI XP Powertoys.
