Firefly in Canada ?

Hi,
Does anyone know when these will show up in Canada ? I know that Future Shop & Best Buy are now selling the BeyondTV software so I wonder when they will have the remote ? Also , I notice NCIX (http://www.ncix.com) has the remote listed but "This Product is Not Available " is shown on the site. I really want to get this remote but I don't want to pay crazy shipping fees plus brokerage fees using UPS .

An update on this would be nice if anyone from Snapstream has one.

I am sure dealing with companies like Futureshop etc. can be frustating, but, if it will take months to show up on their shelves then I will buy one from the store and eat the customs fees but if its likely to be on the shelves here soo I will wait.

Best Buy Canada and Futureshop have agreed to carry the product and you should see it show up on their storeshelves pretty soon -- that means, about 2-3 weeks from now.

FYI, I live just outside Toronto and ordered one from the main SnapStream online store in the US. It took just about a week to get here (not bad for UPS ground), but the brokerage fee was C$40.87 upon delivery. Ouch indeed, but I sure love this Firefly.

Sorry for the delayed reply -- it's out of our hands at the moment... We have called a few Best Buy stores in Canada and have verified that it's not on the shelf yet. We'll let you know when we have new information.

I picked mine up about 2 weeks ago at a Future Shop in Mississauga, the sales person told me they had just got them in days ago, so by now its probably all over the GTA.

Haha, well this summer has not been hot at all, most of the nights here recently have been cold enough to wear a sweater or jacket. Im remember last year was hot as hell. And for anyone else GTA = Greater Toronto Area. :)

$65 plus gst, and reasonalble shipping through Canada Post. I phoned sales and found out that they will replace if item is DOA, otherwise warranty is through Snapstream. I ordered one today incedently.
