Shipping cost!

I wanted to order a firefly but I live in the Uk and the shipping costs were $50, more than the product. Is there another way I can get hold of one

Total shipping costs including VAT with UK customs (you will pay for this 100% with UPS or Airborne) comes to about $100 versus about $140 buying from Snapstream website or via Amazon (same as Snapstream direct).
