tv out question

i have the fx5200 video card with tv out.

right now i have to disconnect my monitor from my main system in order to use my htpc box.

i want to know if i can just use my tv or do i need to have a monitor connected also?

if i can just use my tv how would i do this? i haven't been able to view anything that i recorded on my tv.

You can use just your TV. You can have Beyond TV startup in fullscreen mode.

For most video cards if there is no monitor hooked up and just a TV they will automatically send the picture to the TV.

i'm going to mess around with this later today. hopefully i can get it to work correctly.
