Beyond TV 3.4 stops working with ATI Radeon 9800 pro XT

I upgraded my video card to an ATI Radeon 9800 pro XT. All software works perfectly including the happuage TV software. Beyond TV is so choppy (sound AND video) it is UNUSABLE. Live TV cannot be used. Even watching recordings that have been made are choppy as well.

When I open the interface, moving the mouse around it (live TV, setup recordings, etc.) is slow and choppy. The mouse actually stutters around throughout the interface.

What must I do to get this software to work correctly? (Beyond TV 3.4) with an ATI Radeon 9800 series video card?

I could swear I just rplied to that one: Did you double post?

Check your dxdiag as it seems your card did not install properly and doesn't do 3D correctly.
Check if your games work also...

Hi Eric,
DXDIAG is fine - no problems. All games work (opengl and direct3d). All apps work, in fact - even the software that runs the hauppage tv card (hauppage tv card software). The ONLY thing that does not work on my system is beyond TV.

Weird!

Your symptoms are of BTV's 3D interface not working. Maybe a reinstall could help?
Maybe first check the logs if anything is stuck in BTV.
I am running an 9800AIW Pro here all fine: Not that far away from your card.
