BTV locked up a week or so ago, requiring a hard reboot. Came back up fine except that now the picture is slighly oversized for the screen on all 4 sides. I didn't change any settings..it all just grew about about an inch or two and not just BTV, it's Windows XP too. So If I'm just looking at my Windows desktop, it doesn't fit either.
I reloaded the newest drivers for my video card (yes, I went and download new one).
Here's what I've got:

PVR-250 (drivers 1.17.390.22029)
GeForce FX 5200
S-Video from Cable box to PVR, S-Video from Vid Card to TV.
BTV 3.4 build 1334

Windows XP Screen resolution is set to 800x600. I tried chaning that to 1024 with the same oversized problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

You are running overlay mode. I had the same problem with my FX 5200 when I updated BTV. When I switched to 3D accelerated mode in the settings, it worked fine.

Ok...I changed to 3d in BTV (it was on Overlay) but nothing changed. The problem is occuring even outside of BTV. If I'm just using my PC though the TV, nothing fits.

Any other ideas?

I had the exact same problem, running just about the same settings. I can't remember what the setting is called that I changed, but if you go into the Nvidia properties from the systray icon and look around you should see an option that lets you zoom in and out by clicking on it. I'm not at home at the moment or I'd look and be able to tell you exactly, so I'll check back when I get home (another 8 or 9 hours) and let you know if you can't find it.

OKay, if your problem is the same as mine was, you can fix it by right-clicking on the nvidia icon in your system tray, going to "TV Out" and then in there is a box under "Screen Resolution" (I think that's what it says) where you can click to zoom in or out, or move the screen up,down, and to the sides.
