Beyond Media *Basic* is shipping with Firefly, which is really nthing more than a shell to other applications, and doesn't include any of the future Beyond Media capabilities like MP3 PLaying, DVD playing, etc.

UPS is good at getting it to in 5-7 from shipping. Shipping normally takes a day.

There are few things that I buy spur of the moment. This is the second in the last six months (BTV being the first)

I hope it doesn't disappoint. An RF remote is exactly what I need.

I too have been looking to buy the FireFly remote for a long time now. When I saw it was finally available to purchase yesterday, I ordered one then. I have the silver Hauppauge remote now and I like it. But, I think I will love the FF.

Remote is here! I just installed it and it works exactly the way I want it to. I have just two complaints:
1. I only got 1 AA battery in the box. What is the deal with that?
2. Forced to install full software just to control a BeyondTV system that does none of the other stuff.

that's very strange on only getting a single battery... It should come with two AAA batteries, Maxell batteries shrink-wrapped. please PM me or e-mail me with more details if there are any... rakesh at snapstream.com
