Watch LIVE video over Network ?

when will it be possible to watch video LIVE over network ??

Yeah and be able to change the channel too. Shouldn't be too hard. Just stream the live feed (however you do that) and then just change the tuner frequency. You can have it setup as a webpage that has all the channels in it in a drop down. Then you select the channel and the tuner changes and the channel changes. That would be terrific. Never miss a show no matter where you are if you have an internet connection.

I'm new to Snapstream, but not encoding.

Windows Media Encoder allows for live streaming and write to disk encoding. I do not know if WME controls are being called to perform the WMA file creation or not. If so, the step to doing a live broadcast AND capture to disk should be small one.

Can you change the channel too? Now that would be the best! I would get a computer and direct TV hooked up at my dad's house and get a cable connection so I can watch DirectTV over the internet. Hummm... maybe I should just pay for it. The equipement might cost more than the service! And just image, "Hey dad, I know it's three in the morning but Snapstream Crashed again.
