View Full Version : Sheduled recording not showing in upcomming recordings menu

I have selected a show to record "all new episodes" there are several in the guide but they are not being added to the "upcomming list"
what is the problem?

3 things:
- Check the system clock/timezone and make sure it is correct
- Check the GUI program guide and logs to make sure the local database has data in it
- Check any 1-time recordings youve added in the past few days to see if they have caused a conflict, there is a bug with the recording engine if you shcedule a record all then schedule a record once of any show that record all would record (even ones it will skip cause of repeat/already exisitng) then it will cause the engine to not generate new jobs until the conflict is fixed. this is done by removing the jobs from the recording manager 1 at a time until the conflict is found.
you can back up your recordings list by making a backup of this file:
c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\personal video station\JobCollection.xml

all of the episodes in the prog guide show as N with a line through them
it seems as though it considers them reruns, i selected that it grab new shows only, i sguess that is new, not new to me....
i shose, record all and it seems fine now
i just figured that all meant all, and they ru the same one all week, i did not want he show 10 times
SS is jsut to smart!
does it auto conflict resolve if it has a choice of multiple listings of the same episode??
